What makes our shrimp taste so darned good?

Well, it's caught in its natural environment, the Gulf of Mexico. This is a totally different taste that just can't be duplicated with that farmed stuff. Plus, you're getting the shrimp the same way we eat it on our table----fresh! If we wouldnt put it on our own table, we sure aren't going to sell it to anyone. We're just that darned picky!

We pride ourselves on giving you the best of the best when you order shrimp from Mariah Jade Shrimp Co. We hand grade our shrimp and treat them with a lot of TLC. After hand grading them, we instant quick freeze to seal in that freshness. (This the process that makes them easy to defrost once you purchase them.)

We are different from the rest since we are actually the harvester and the retailer. The only ones to handle the shrimp besides us is the shipper. These shrimp do not go through all those middlemen in the process. The process is that our vessels nets catch the shrimp, the deckhands process the shrimp, the shrimp is then placed very gently in our freezer awaiting to be ordered.

Another thing that sets us apart from your usual seafood dealers is that we are the first and only fishers in the U.S. to obtain the "certified Wild American Shrimp" label. This proves that we have the best of the best right here off of our vessel, those that make the Grade A mark.
